Intro

Okay, so I’ve finally decided to give this blogging thing a go after many years of having my Mom relentlessly try to convince me to pursue writing. She seems to enjoy the lengthy and, sometimes animated emails I send her and somehow think they constitute the ability to make for an interesting Writer, hmmmm; I guess we’ll have to see about that.

Thanks to the World Wide Web and how easy technology has made it to freely express one’s thoughts and views, what better way to “put myself out there” and get my feet wet than via a blog?

I enjoy writing and find it therapeutic as some would a long walk and others, a bottle of Vodka. If you enjoy candor and real talk, you’ve definitely come to the right place and will definitely find that most of what I write resonates with you.

My family and friends would be wise in telling you that I don’t sugar coat anything unless I am baking. I really prefer to be real and don’t have a hard time saying the things most people wish they could and often need to.

I truly believe that life is a school, it offers us many valuable lessons through our own experiences and observations. There is so much to garner from each other, we all have a story to tell and in many ways have experienced similar experiences in one fashion or another, as such I hope my words will be received well and that we can agree to disagree respectfully.
