The Difference Between You And Your Destiny or Dream Might be Someone

Have you ever noticed how things fall into place and good things start happening in your life the minute you let go of certain people or stop hanging around them? You have to realize that some people in your life are stumbling blocks, dream killers and time wasters who will hinder you from reaching your destiny if you continue holding onto them and allowing them to have influence in your life.

You know who am talking about. The naysayers who are always pooh poohing your dreams and telling you why or how impossible they are and that you don’t have what it takes to pull them off. It could be that family member who tries to dissuade you from pursuing your dream because you don’t have a college degree, lack connections or currently work at a minimum wage paying job. Maybe it’s that “friend” who tells you you’re too old to go back to school, lack influence or aren’t qualified enough to start your own business.

The people you expect to support your dreams and be your biggest cheerleaders are sometimes the very people who try to sabotage them and talk you out of them. They will tell you that you are crazy, wasting your time and the biggest whopper of them all, that you are selfish for wanting something better for yourself.

You have to realize that people are often threatened and envious when those around them seek to make progressive changes because it indirectly forces them to examine their own lives and sometimes get out of their comfort zones. If you aren’t careful, people will project their insecurities and fears on you and cause you to question yourself, your abilities and ambitions.

The last thing you should ever do is waste time trying to get everyone on board with you. Know that some people will rain on your parade and not everyone will meet you at your finish line. You have to be willing to go it alone sometimes regardless of what anyone else thinks or says and commit to seeing your dreams come to fruition.

The road might be lonely on your journey, just remember that as long as you continue to sow, you will eventually reap and that the biggest cheerleader you really need, is yourself; if you believe in your dreams, nothing will be impossible to you.

Re-evaluate relationships and friendships that aren’t supportive and determine if they are worth investing more of your time into. If you can’t garner the support you need from them, limit your involvement and choose instead to align with people who are on the same path towards growth themselves and who believe in your abilities and capabilities.

It has often been said that we become like those we associate with. Hang around like-minded people who have a vision for themselves and believe in all the possibilities life has to offer, their energy combined with yours will be enough to catapult you to your dreams and keep you going on your journey.

Above all things, don’t stop dreaming or give anyone the satisfaction of robbing you of your dream!

This is super awesome Yvonne. Honestly some people are road blockers, stumbling blocks and are always holding barriers down so that you have no passage through. Better believe in yourself and what you want to do and go right ahead and do it. Now we know!!

Anything is possible to those who believe. We should always strive to surround ourselves with people who support our dreams and inspire us to be the best version of ourselves as possible. Thanks for your continued support.

Truth be told. We hold on to insecurities thinking we have no other way out. I recently let go off my fear and the people who got me scared and dependant. It is the best thing I’ve done for me ina long time. Thanks Yvonne.
